The Kano state government in northern Nigeria has laid claim to the removal of King Muhammadu Sanusi II from office. The Secretary of State for the state, Alhaji Usman Alhaji, issued a statement on Monday explaining the reasons for the removal. The statement said all members of the state executive council had agreed to remove King Sanusi II.
