The Kano State Council Has Begun Investigating King Sanusi
Kano State House of Assembly has set up a committee to investigate Kano emir Muhammadu Sanusi II on two complaints filed against him.
The committee was formed on Wednesday under the chairmanship of Senator Zubairu Hamza Masu, who is the chairman of the committee and was given a week to submit his report.
The chairman of the committee told the council on Wednesday that he had received two complaints from the Kano State Educational and Cultural Development Commission and another Muhammad Mukhtar, a resident of Ja'en, Gwale local government, on Monday.
He said the complainants alleged that the Kano king had done things that were out of harmony with the religion and culture of the Kano people.
Zubairu owners said the complainants had presented the CDs as evidence against their allegations.
